Nike Zoom LeBron II

The Lebron II takes a whole new direction from the Hummer H2 inspired Air Zoom Generation. The shoe has both a modern and retro feel to design and technology. Full length blow molded air cushioning system now gives the shoe an ultra plush ride. A removable strap (with a huge swoosh) is bound to make those Air Force 1 fans happy. For those not feeling the large strap, laser etched design featuring a lion’s head (King James) and LBJ 23 is carved on to the leather. This is also Nike’s way of responding to the counterfeit shoes on the market. The design of the sole causes the shoe to slip when doing hard cutting and planting. The box has the laser etched design and is one of the best designed shoe boxes ever by Nike. Comfort is excellent with the exception of the tongue being a little too short and slides down during play. Finally, beware of cushioning softness over a long period of time. The Zoom Max Air seems to lose steam after prolonged wears even though it is excellent when brand new. Overall, $125 retail is actually quite reasonable and certainly recommended for any serious baller or Lebron fan.

Nike Zoom LeBron III

If there were any doubt that Lebron James lineup is now the flagship of Nike Basketball, one simply need to look at the upcoming Lebron III. The 3rd iteration of the signature shoe has all grown up while retaining much of the same success that has made it so popular in the first place. Look for cues carried from the Air Jordan XI for the upper and visible Zoom Max at the midsole. The material and workmanship has also improved – which had been one of the most complained about element of the Air Zoom Generation and Lebron II. Nike also provided flexibility around the ankle area with a formula that reminded us of the T-MAC II. Also, flex grooves are added at the sole for maximum traction and ease of wear. This is easily the best SOLE design of any Nike Shoe in the past 3-4 years.

Nike Zoom LeBron VI

Quickness meets power! The Zoom LeBron VI performance basketball shoe represents the essence of LeBron James: team, toughness, passion and vision. James worked with Nike designer Ken Link to create a shoe that meets his performance needs and the needs of players with a powerful, dynamic style of play. The Zoom LeBron VI not only has a full-length Zoom Air unit in the mid-sole for the ultimate responsive ride, but also has a Zoom Air unit double-stacked in the heel. The cushioning system helps the forefoot for transition when jumping. Deep sipes in the shoe allow for natural motion, which means the shoe works with the athlete’s movement, rather than against it. The shoe’s collar has been engineered with a wider opening so it’s easier to slip on and wear while maintaining a full-length fit feel. On the collar, graffiti art highlights LeBron’s mantras – passion, family, winning, fearless and vision.

Nike Air Max LeBron VII

His masterpiece of performance style, the LeBron Air Max VII Men’s Basketball shoe was born to play and it brought 360 degrees of Max Air cushioning with it. The LeBron VII houses 80% more air than any other full-length basketball Air-Sole unit. The basketball-specific 360 Air Unit provides maximum impact protection and stability, so you can take on the competition with confidence. The full-length Phylon midsole delivers lightweight cushioning for added comfort. Double-layer Flywire support wraps the midfoot for extra lockdown in the hardest cuts, and keeps the Lebron VII lightweight. For enhanced control and comfort on the court, the integrated booty system provides a glove-like fit. Layer of memory foam on top of high resiliency foam enhances immediate comfort while retaining long-term cushioning and comfort.

Nike LeBron VIII

On this one-of-a-kind court shoe, the traditional Swoosh is revamped, pushed toward the heel in a unique loop design to symbolize LeBron’s speed. On the tongue, a detailed lion graphic represents his ravenous, hunter-like nature, and a signature label takes inspiration from his off-court attire. To create zonal support, Nike designers put a plastic frame around the Flywire-which is made of super-strong, ultra-lightweight nylon fibers in the upper part of the shoe-for lightweight lockdown only where you need it. They also left extra space between the collar and heel, allowing more room to flex the Achilles during intense man-to-man matchups. This hoops shoe radiates style with its luxurious, supple and all-natural leather, classically crafted and molded to resemble the shell of a dress shoe. An alternating lace formation not only looks good on the court but also enhances the fit, with the top eyelet in a dual-pull design shaped like an eight. The LeBron 8 is built on a basketball-specific Max Air 360 unit, offering maximum protection and cushioning during quick cuts and jumps. A comfortable Phylon midsole works with the Max Air cushioning to help provide a softer footstrike and smoother ride to the hoop.
